The ancient Greek technique of “enkaustikos” used the four elements: fire, earth (pigments), water (wax) and air to waterproof ships and paint statues in vibrant colors.  This versatile medium has made a comeback in the post-modern world.  What better place to explore this medium than on the ancient islands it was used! Get inspired by the raw elemental beauty of Greece, the minimal blue and white palate of Cycladic aesthetic to create in a private atelier with studio overlooking a secluded bay on the island of Ios, known for its fabulous beaches.
